William Hill ACCA Insurance Terms & Conditions

1.This "Acca Five Insurance" promotion (the “Promotion”) is promoted, operated and hosted at williamhill.com (the "Website") by WHG (International) Limited (“William Hill”, "we", "us", "our") a limited company registered in Gibraltar with registered company number 99191 and whose registered office is at 6/1 Waterport Place, Gibraltar. 2.Please refer to the "Definitions" section below for the meanings given to capitalised terms used in these terms and conditions ("Promotion Terms"). 3.The Promotion will run from 00:00:01 (UK time) on 01/01/2018 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Promotion Terms (the “Promotion Period”). How does this Promotion work? 4.When you place one or more qualifying straight Accumulator bets, each containing 5 or more bets or "selections" (each an "Acca") on any day during the Promotion Period, and one of your selections in a single Acca lets you down (i.e. that selection is a losing bet) ("Losing Acca"), then we will give you your money back as a free bet on each Losing Acca (each a "Free Bet"), up to a maximum value of Free Bets of £20 per day. For example: a)if you placed one £7 Acca containing 5 or more selections on a given day during the Promotion Period and one of the selections in your Acca let you down, you would receive a Free Bet of £7; and b)if you placed three Accas (each containing 5 or more selections) worth £9, £8 and £7, respectively, on a given day during the Promotion Period and one selection in each of your Accas lost, you would receive a £9 Free Bet for the first Losing Acca, an £8 Free Bet for the second Losing Acca and a £3 Free Bet for the third Losing Acca (i.e. the maximum value of Free Bets of £20 – £9 – £8 = £3 for the last Free Bet). 5.Free Bets can be redeemed on any market or selection on the "Sports" page on the Website ("Sportsbook Bet") (subject to the restrictions set out in the "What restrictions apply when you redeem your Free Bet?" section, below) and must be wagered within 4 days of the date on which your Free Bet was credited to your Account ("Bonus Period"). 6.Any unused Free Bets on your Account will automatically expire at the end of the Bonus Period (and you will not be able to use these Free Bets). Which Accas / bets qualify for this Promotion? 7.In order to be eligible for this Promotion (and any Free Bets), each selection in your Acca must be placed on the sports and markets listed in the "Which Sports and Markets qualify for this Promotion?" section, below ("Sports" and "Markets", respectively). 8.You can bet on one Sport and Market, or mix and match various Sports and Markets as you choose, however please note that selections from sports and markets not listed in the Sports and Markets below will not qualify for this Promotion (or any Free Bets). 9.Please note that in order for an Acca to be eligible for this Promotion (and any Free Bet): a)each Acca must consist of straight Accumulator bets only. Multiple Bets and Perm Bets do not count (e.g. Lucky 15 bets); b)each selection in your Acca must be priced at odds of 1/5 (1.2) or greater; and c)each Acca must be placed using funds from your Main Balance (you cannot place an Acca (in whole or in part) using a Free Bet or any other free bets or bonuses received from any other promotion). 10.This Promotion only applies to: a)bets placed on the Website (www.williamhill.com), via mobile (mobile.williamhill.com or via the IOS Mobile App) or by text (Text 60609); and b)Pre-match Bets only. In-play Bets and any bets settled using the Cash in my bet feature will not qualify for this Promotion (or any Free Bet). 11.Where multiple Free Bets are awarded (i.e. because you have placed more than one Losing Acca on a given day), the order in which Free Bets are credited to your Account is determined by the lowest "Bet Receipt" number first (i.e. the Acca you placed first). 12.If any one or more selections in an Acca is made Void as a result of which the Acca has fewer than 5 eligible selections, the Acca will not qualify for the Promotion. Your Acca will be settled on the remaining selections (and any winnings from that Acca will be awarded), however you will not be entitled to any Free Bets. 13.A maximum of £20 (or currency equivalent) of Free Bets may be awarded per customer, per day in connection with this Promotion. Free Bets awarded in Euros are calculated at a conversion rate of 1:1 against GBP pounds sterling. All other currencies are calculated on the daily “Closing mid-point for Pound Spot Forward against the Pound” conversion rate as published in the Financial Times on the day on which the Losing Acca is settled (Saturday’s issue will apply for Sundays). What restrictions apply when you redeem your Free Bet? 14.Free Bets are non-refundable and cannot be withdrawn from your Account. Once you have wagered your Free Bet, however, any winnings from your Free Bet will automatically transfer to your Main Balance from where you will be able to withdraw them as cash or wager them in non-Promotion play. 15.Your winnings from wagers placed using Free Bets are calculated as the total returns less the amount staked (including the amount of any Free Bet staked). The value of your Free Bet is therefore not included in, and cannot be withdrawn as part of, any winnings you make from your Free Bet (please note that the "Estimated Return" shown on the "Bet Slip" page on your Account (and on your "Bet Receipt") shows your returns including the amount of any Free Bet staked). 16.Please note that Free Bets can only be: a)used on Sportsbook Bets (excluding Pool Bets (e.g. US Racing), Tote Bets and Lottery Bets) and cannot be used on bets / wagers on any other pages of the Website (including the "Vegas", "Macau", "Casino", "Live Casino", "Games", "Scratchcards", "Bingo", "Poker" or "Virtual" pages); b)placed as a single bet and cannot be split, meaning that if you place multiple bets, your Free Bet will be allocated to the first bet appearing on your "Bet Slip"; and c)redeemed in full, meaning that if you place a bet for less than the full value of your Free Bet, no "change" nor additional free bets will be awarded. 17.You cannot stake a Free Bet as a qualifying bet for any other free bets or promotions. 18.Cash in my bet feature will not be available for bets placed using a Free Bet. 19.Cash in my bet feature will not be available for bets placed that trigger a free bet as part of a promotion (including this Promotion). How do you take part in this Promotion? 20.In order to take part in the Promotion: a)you need to place one or more qualifying Accas (each containing 5 or more selections) on any day during the Promotion Period either on the Website (www.williamhill.com), via mobile (mobile.williamhill.com or via the IOS Mobile App) or by text (Text 60609), during the Promotion Period; and b)one or more of your Accas must be a Losing Acca. 21.Any Free Bets will be credited to your Account and will appear as "1 free bet available" on the "Bet Slip" page on your Account by midday on the next day following the date on which the last selection in the relevant Losing Acca begins (UK time). For example, if the final selection in a Losing Acca started at: a)any time between 00:00:00 and 23:59:59 on 11th August (UK time); or b)at 19:45 on 10th August (local time) but not until 01:45 on 11th August (UK time), then, in either case, your Free Bet would be credited to your Account by midday on 12th August (UK time). 22.For illustrated instructions showing you how to redeem Free Bets, please refer to the "How do I check that my free bet has been credited to my account?" page on the Website (https://williamhill-lang.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5652/kw/redeem%20your%20free%20bet#redemption_rules). Which Sports and Markets qualify for this Promotion? 23.In order to be eligible for this Promotion (and any Free Bet), each selection in your Acca must be placed on any of the Sports and Markets listed in the table below. 24.If you are unsure of what these Sports or Markets mean or which bets will qualify for this Promotion, you can: a)refer to the "Sports Rules" / FAQs page on the website for further information (available at https://williamhill-lang.custhelp.com/app/answers/list/c/3640; and / or b)contact our Customer Services team for clarification using the contact details on the "Contact Us" page on the Website (available at https://williamhill-lang.custhelp.com/app/ask). Promotional Play Restrictions. 25.We offer bonuses and promotions to enhance your enjoyment of our games and wagering. We therefore expect that you will participate in all bonuses and promotions fairly, so that our other customers too may enjoy our services. We have set out below certain types of play which we consider to be unfair and which therefore may be in breach of these Promotion Terms: a)using minimal risk wagering patterns (e.g. low risk wagering, zero risk wagering or equal betting patterns); b)using multiple accounts to obtain more than the number of bonuses or free bets permitted for each customer; c)sharing personalised promotional offers or bonuses (i.e. promotions or bonuses which are available to specific customers only) received by you e.g. via email, inbox message, text message, links, URLs etc. with others who were not the intended recipient. This includes accessing promotions or bonuses forwarded to you by others when you were not the intended recipient; d)concealing your country of residence in order to access a promotion or bonus that is not available in your country of residence; e)colluding with other customers in order to take advantage of promotions or bonuses; or f)using more than one account per household or per IP address, together, "Promotional Play Restrictions". 26.Where you are in breach of any Promotional Play Restrictions, we may be entitled to cancel any bonuses or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus element of such offers and either settle bets at the correct odds, void any free bets, void any bet funded by a bonus, or remove any subsequent winnings relating to a bonus / free bets. We may also be entitled to levy an administration charge up to the value of the bonus, free bet or additional payment to cover our reasonable administrative costs in respect of any such action that we take. General Promotion terms. 27.In addition to these Promotion Terms, your use of the Website and your participation in any gaming or wagering (including this Promotion) is governed by our general terms and conditions which are available at https://williamhill-lang.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6719 ("General Terms"). You should therefore ensure that you have read and understood the General Terms and these Promotion Terms before taking part in this Promotion. In the case of any discrepancy between these Promotion Terms and the General Terms, these Promotion Terms shall take precedence. 28.Notwithstanding anything else contained in these Promotion Terms, you may withdraw any funds in your Main Balance at any time except where we are required to withhold such funds in order to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations. 29.William Hill has the right to refuse or withhold payment of any Free Bets (or winnings from Free Bets) in the event of funds you have deposited into your Main Balance (including any sums you have wagered) being cancelled or denied by any payment service. 30.William Hill reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet, stake or similar transaction requested by you: (a) where you have breached these Promotion Terms (and/or the General Terms); or (b) at any time in our sole discretion (an "Account Restriction"), except that we will not exercise (or seek to enforce) any such Account Restriction if you have already made one or more qualifying bets in respect of the Promotion and the exercise of our discretion would: a) affect your ability to: i.receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the Promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets; ii.place the remaining qualifying bets required by the Promotion, and consequently receive the free bets, or the full expected value of the free bets, from the Promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result; or iii.attempt to complete any wagering requirements (if any) specified in these Promotion Terms; or b)materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets required by the Promotion. 31.We will notify you of any Account Restriction that we have applied to your Account and the steps that you should take in order to receive the full benefit of any free bets otherwise removed or altered by the Account Restriction. 32.Please note that you may not participate in the Promotion (and you will not be entitled to receive any Free Bets) if you have previously been excluded by William Hill from participating in promotions or any gaming or wagering on the Website. 33.William Hill reserves the right to cancel or amend this Promotion at any time and without prior notice. Any cancellation or amendment of this Promotion will not affect any Free Bets you have accrued prior to such cancellation or amendment which you will be able to continue to use in accordance with these Promotion Terms. 34.These Promotion Terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Definitions: 35.In these Promotion Terms, the following definitions shall apply: a)"Account" means your online account with William Hill which can be accessed via the Website; b)"Accumulator" means one bet involving multiple selections in different events, all of which must be successful to get a return; c)"Cash in my bet feature" means a feature offered by William Hill on selected bets for which you have the option to settle all or part of a bet at the cash in my bet value displayed on the Website before the relevant selection(s) ends; d)"In-play Bet" means a bet placed after the relevant selection has already started; e)"Lottery Bet" means any lottery bets available on the Website; f)"Lucky 15" means a type of Multiple Bet consisting of 15 bets involving 4 selections in different events; g)"Main Balance" means the total funds that you have deposited into your Account plus any winnings from redeemed bets (including redeemed Free Bets), which you can withdraw as cash or wager in non-Promotion play at any time; h)"Multiple Bet" means a linked series of Single Bets where all of the return from the first selection is automatically staked on the second selection as a win Single Bet and so on until all the selections have won, thus giving a return, or until one selection loses in which case the whole bet is lost; i)"Perm Bets" means a Multiple Bet that contains more than one possible outcome in one or more events (i.e. where you bet on different permutations of a Multiple Bet); j)"Pool Bet" means any horse racing pools bets available on the Website; k)"Pre-match Bet" means a bet placed before the relevant selection has begun; l)"Single Bet" means a bet on one selection in one event (e.g. the home team to win in a football match); m)"Void" means a bet which is made void where one or more selections forming part of that bet are postponed. A postponement is where a selection does not commence on the same day it is scheduled to do so. A postponement can occur for a variety of reasons (though not exclusively): inclement weather and conditions; security/policing; power failures; or crowd trouble; n)"Tote Bet" means any Tote bets made available on the Website; and o)"US Racing" means bets on US horse race meetings made available on the Website.
