Review of Bwin.com
Bwin were originally founded in 1997 as Betandwin and started operating online as Bwin.com from 2001 onwards soon after the Part Gaming network acquired the company.
Primarily a European facing online bookie, Bwin increased their presence in the UK with their connection to big football clubs that appear in the Champions League.
Associating themselves with massively supported teams propelled Bwin to be one of the largest betting portals in Europe taking over 30,000 bets each day on over 90 different sports.
There's one aspect of the Bwin website that immediately strikes a chord with most punters and that's the sheer quality of it's design - black and classy!
Employing a clean two-tone design that's very reminiscent of the excellent Ladbrokes website, Bwin makes finding and placing bets a very enjoyable experience.

Bwin offer ok odds on most markets although they may not always be the best options when compared to the best online bookies we've reviewed. Where Bwin come into their own is in their great early prices on football and European sports.
Overall Bwin are a pretty solid choice for live in-play betting, as you'll get similar prices for both the pre-match odds as well as their in-play odds. If you like to place bets as the action unfolds then a Bwin sports betting account is for you.
Champions League betting launched Bwin as a top bookie and they're a pretty good bookie for betting on football, but what other markets do Bwin offer sports betting fans?
At the time of this Bwin review, even though they offer over 90 different sports, we found that they tended to focus mainly on big markets and could add depth to smaller markets.
The Bwin website is probably the best reason for joining. It oozes class and is very easy to locate all the different types of sports betting markets that Bwin offer with their 'live-betting' console particularly impressive.
Bwin offer members the option of having betting results emailed or sent to via SMS which allows you to keep on top of all your accounts' activity. They also offer unparalleled security employing state-of-the-art SSL server technology.
We have to say that for a company of Bwin's size their customer service department is slightly lacking. Unfortunately at the time of writing they were only available between the hours of 10am and 10pm Monday to Sunday and should really offer 24 hour service.
They've still a way to go if they want to compete with the likes of William Hill and Ladbrokes but overall Bwin's agents were competent but less accessible than other bookies we feature.

Bwin's navigation oozes class and is very intuitive with all of Bwin's sports betting markets and odds, the days highlights and live betting options found quickly and easily from the homepage.
The Bwin live betting service also deserves a mention as it's a decent live betting console with only William Hill coming close in terms of the amount of features.
Although heavily focused on European sports and football in particular, Bwin do offer excellent website design, handy betting tutorials and an intuitive, uncluttered betting interface.
Bwin have made their registration process as easy as it is to find and place bet's with a simple online form and then a confirmation e-mail pinging to your inbox. Simply click on the link it contains for verification purposes and then you're able to login and make your first deposit.
Now you can claim the free bet that Bwin offer new account holders and start betting. Bwin's withdrawals are quick and use the same methods available for depositing.
