FIFA Confederations Cup

Football

The FIFA Confederations Cup takes place in Brazil between the 15th and 30th of June and online bookies have already started to promote betting offers and free bets for the competition.

This years FIFA Confederations Cup will be the 9th time the tournament will have taken place and it's set to bring added excitement in the run up to the 2014 World Cup, which also takes place in Brazil. The final 8 teams have had to win difficult games to make it this far, and they’ll all be hoping to take home the title and win the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.

Confederations Cup - Group A

Group A of the Confederations Cup is made up of Brazil, Japan, Mexico and Italy, with Brazil facing Japan in the opening game on June 15th. Not only are Brazil the bookies favourites to win the tournament, Bet365 currently offer odds of just 3/10 that they’ll beat Japan in the opening game!

While there are plenty of markets to bet on using free bets, it may be worth looking at some of the other games in Group A for better value. Italy also look set to be a strong contender in Group A and William Hill offers punters betting odds of 9/4 on them reaching the final.

With Brazil at 8/15 and Spain at 4/6 to also make the final, make sure you claim the William Hill free bet offer for new customers if you’re going to bet on either team in this betting market and want the best Confederations Cup odds.

Confederations Cup - Group B

Group B is made up of Spain, Uruguay, Tahiti and Nigeria, with Spain facing Uruguay in the opening game on June 16th. Online bookies see Spain as the favourite to win this group with pretty poor Confederations Cup odds on offer at most bookies.

Nigeria could be a better option for free bets and be the team that upsets Spain’s chances. Betfred offers odds of 13/10 for them to do just that if you fancy a bet on the African underdogs.

Confederations Cup Semi Finals

The Confederations Cup Semi Finals take place on June 26th and 27th and, as they approach, bookies will no doubt have more special free bet offers on their outcome.

The final takes place on June 30th and if the bookies are correct it will be a Brazil v’s Spain final.

BetVictor are currently offering Brazil at 11/8 and Spain at 13/8 to win outright and if you aren't already a member, don't forget to claim BetVictor's free bet offer for new customers as you could win £34.38 if you back Brazil by £25 or £40.63 if you go for Spain and they win the Confederations Cup.

Most bookies have picked Brazil and Spain as their firm favourites, however you never know how this years FIFA Confederations Cup will unfold and there are plenty of value bets to be had if you free bet on lesser fancied teams.

Plus, as the Confederations Cup progresses keep an eye out for regular betting offers and enhanced odds at your favourite bookies.
